SOLDIER SUMMIT, Wasatch County — One person was critically injured after a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 6 in Wasatch County Saturday evening.

About 6 p.m., a red car made a U-turn on U.S. 6 near Soldier Summit and was struck by a silver car, then the red car was struck by a semitruck on the other side of the vehicle, the Utah Highway Patrol said. One of the drivers was trapped after the crash as his or her car was on fire, but troopers did not say which vehicle the driver was in.

The driver of the red car was flown to a hospital in critical condition, according to Utah Highway Patrol. The driver of the silver vehicle was taken to the hospital by ambulance in "fair to poor condition," troopers added.
