ROY — A motorcyclist was critically injured when his bike collided with a car Tuesday.
Roy police received a report of a crash at 5528 S. 1900 West about 3:30 p.m. A southbound car was turning left into a parking lot when a motorcycle headed north on 1900 West slammed into the vehicle, throwing the driver from the bike, police said.
The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was in "very critical condition" and taken to the hospital, Roy police spokesman Stuart Hackworth said. No other injuries were reported.
Witnesses said the motorcycle was traveling "very fast," Hackworth said. A Weber County crash team is investigating the details of the crash.
