SALT LAKE CITY — Isaac Wilson and company made easy work of last season's 5A champion Friday in the second 6A semifinal game of the day.

If you were looking for a show, Corner Canyon was happy to oblige.

Junior running back Bryton Brady had five first-half touchdowns and 213 all-purpose yards, Wilson threw for 291 yards (and rushed for 101 yards) and three touchdowns, and Corner Canyon had 508 total yards all before the break.

Corner Canyon scored on all six first-half drives en route to a 63-24 blowout win over Lehi to return to the 6A championship game in a rematch of last year's game against reigning champ Skyridge.

There was no denying the Chargers Friday of another chance at a championship opportunity.

"We feel like they have so much that they haven't tapped into yet, and we feel like at times they're doing a really good job," Corner Canyon head coach Eric Kjar said. "Today, they just really executed all the way around, I felt, like in all aspects, so I was really happy with them."

And if you didn't know Brady's name by the end of Friday, it's about time to get familiar. Brady finished with seven touchdowns and 267 all-purpose yards, including four scores on the ground (122 yards on 11 carries) and three scores through the air (145 yards on four catches).

"It's unbelievable," Brady said. "The feeling is unreal. I can't explain it enough. ... But I would have never thought seven — seven in a playoff game is unreal."

Wilson finished with 428 yards and four touchdowns on 20-of-27 passing, while adding an additional 122 rushing yards as the team's leading rusher in the game. Jerome Myles added 118 receiving yards and one touchdown on four catches, and Tate Kjar had 111 yards on eight catches.

Corner Canyon finished with 706 yards of total offense.

"Offensive line killed it," Wilson said. "I'm gonna give it all to them. They personally had, what eight touchdowns by themselves. Bryton Brady got into the end zone seven times by himself."

In the end, Corner Canyon scored a touchdown on all nine drives before Eric Kjar pulled his starters with a running clock in the fourth quarter. By then, the game was well out of reach for the Pioneers to make a comeback.

Lehi quarterback Jett Niu threw for 242 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions on 20-of-30 passing in the losing effort.
