FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Rob McCoy had one touchdown passing and one rushing, Malik Grant gained 104 yards on the ground with a score, and Sacred Heart beat Central Connecticut 31-24. Sacred Heart had two scoring drives of 10 or more plays in the fourth quarter to break a tie at 17-all. Grant's go-ahead scoring run of 18 yards capped a 74-yard drive. McCoy's 17-yard connection with Aboraa Kwarteng ended a 90-yard drive for a 31-17 lead. Elijah Howard scored his second touchdown of the game to pull Central Connecticut within seven points with 1:39 to go. Sacred Heart went four-and-out to leave 34 seconds on the clock. CCSU's drive stalled at the Sacred Heart 27 after completions of 24 and 19 yards.
