LOGAN — An ambulance was struck by a vehicle while responding to a call, injuring three people Wednesday.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden said an ambulance was heading west on 400 North with lights flashing and the siren blaring. The ambulance was crossing the 600 East intersection and passing a vehicle in the turn lane on the left when the car turned in front of them.

The car hit the side of the ambulance, Roden said. The three people in the ambulance were transported with "moderate to serious" injuries. The driver of the car was unharmed.

Roden said the ambulance was responding to an emergency call when the crash happened.

Correction: In a previous version troopers reported the crash happened at 600 West. It was 600 East.
