Carrying machines and products for more than 10 manufacturers and several third-party brands, Young Powersports XL Centerville — the largest powersports dealership in Utah — opened August 8.
"We've been looking forward to opening this store for nearly two years," Young Powersports director Jeramie Young said. "The powersports community in Utah is passionate and we've loved being a part of it. We want this to serve as a staple for them."
Located at 547 S Frontage Rd. in Centerville the 115,000-square-foot facility is a dealer for Polaris, Can Am, Sea Doo, Ski Doo, Indian, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, KTM, Royal Enfield, Vanderhall and Yamaha. Each manufacturer will have their own area and sales manager. The dealership also plans to add more manufacturers in the future.
In addition to machines, the new location carries products from brands like Fox Racing, Alpine Stars, HJC, Shoei, Troy Lee Design, Cortech, Noru and Scorpion — providing customers with access to a wide range of apparel.

"We have put a lot of work into constructing a building that will be worthy of our customers and their families," Young Powersports XL Centerville general manager Nate Gailey said. "More importantly, we have filled this building with a team of industry enthusiasts who will work even harder to provide an exceptional experience that's second to none."
A courtyard area and soon-to-come water tower welcome customers outside of the dealership. Inside, large windows allow for natural light to permeate the showroom area.
The new facility has also been equipped with a Daily Rise Coffee franchise as well an area for haircuts, manicures and pedicures. A white glove area inside the dealership allows customers to watch their machine through glass walls as it goes through service.
"One of our goals with this dealership was to create a stunning shopping experience," Young said. "Whatever you ride, there's a sense of adventure you get when you ride a machine. We wanted this new facility to encapsulate elements of that feeling."
Beginning with their Burley, Idaho dealership in 2015, Young Powersports has seven locations across Utah and Southern Idaho. Its former Bountiful and Centerville locations were combined to make this new dealership.
Outside of Young Powersports XL Centerville, other locations in the group will undergo renovations and expansions soon. Young Powersports Layton is currently in the process of expanding their service area. The Ogden location is also planned to go through expansion.
"It's been a thrill seeing Young Powersports grow these last few years," Young said. "We look forward to further expansions and opportunities to deliver our exceptional customer experience."
