MURRAY — Members of the Hispanic community can take advantage of free health care resources this Friday.

Alliance Community Services is hosting a health fair from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 5286 S. Commerce Drive in Murray. The event will feature free services and assistance in Spanish, food, music, piñata, gifts and face painting for kids and dancing.

The event aims to help individuals who do not have health insurance, are in modest- and low-income households and whose English language skills may be a barrier to accessing health services.

This family-friendly event is open to the public, and people will receive services in the order they arrive until resources are finished. The free services include:

  • COVID-19 vaccines
  • Medicaid and Chip enrollment consultations
  • Vision exams
  • Mammograms
  • Hearing exams
  • Diabetes screenings
  • Dental screenings

MURRAY — Los miembros de la comunidad Hispana pueden aprovechar recursos gratuitos de atención médica este Viernes.

Alliance Community Services organizó una feria de salud de 5 p.m. a 9 p.m. en 5286 S. Commerce Drive en Murray. El evento tendrá servicios gratuitos y asistencia en español, comida, música, piñata, regalos y pintura facial para niños y baile.

El objetivo del evento es ayudar a las personas que no tienen seguro de salud, están en hogares modestos y de bajos ingresos y cuyas habilidades en el idioma inglés pueden ser una barrera para acceder a los servicios de salud.

Es un evento familiar y abierto al público. Se atenderán a las personas en el orden que lleguen hasta agotar recursos. Los servicios gratuitos incluyen:

  • Vacunas de COVID-19
  • Consultas para registrarse a Medicaid y Chip
  • Exámenes de visión
  • Mammografías
  • Exámenes auditivos
  • Exámenes de detección de diabetes
  • Revisión dental
