OREM — Trey Woodbury called game.

The Utah Valley senior scored 7-straight points during a game-ending 11-1 run, including the go-ahead 3-pointer from NBA range with 25 seconds left, to help the Wolverines rally past California Baptist 71-67 and to stretch their win streak to 11 consecutive games Wednesday night at the CBU Events Center in Riverside, California.

Woodbury finished with 18 points, six assists and five rebounds; and Justin Harmon added 14 points and five boards; and Le'Tre Darthard added 14 points — all in the second half — for Utah Valley (14-4, 5-0 WAC) to stay unbeaten in Western Athletic Conference play. Tim Fuller had 12 points, seven rebounds and a pair of assists for the Wolverines, who shot 45% from the field but made just five 3-pointers and committed 11 turnovers.

"I was really happy with the way Le'Tre stepped up in the second half," UVU coach Mark Madsen told ESPN 960 Sports. "He's always ready to shoot, and that's what makes him great.

"I was happy with everybody. Everyone that went in contributed in a huge way, and every player contributed, whether they played or not."

Utah Valley took its first lead of the game five minutes into the second half through a bucket by Darthard, who did all his scoring on 4-of-7 shooting, including six free throws as the Wolverines stretched their win streak to the third-longest in the nation.

Taran Armstrong had 16 points and six assists to lead California Baptist, and Riley Battin added 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Tre Armstrong supplied 12 points and four rebounds for the Lancers (10-8, 2-3 WAC).

The Wolverines trailed by as much as 6 points with two minutes left, and CBU connected on nine 3-pointers to hand the visitors their first loss in WAC play. That's when Woodbury cut the deficit to a single possession with back-to-back buckets — UVU's first field goal in over four minutes — with 1:21 left to play.

That set up Woodbury's last-minute heroics before Darthard polished off the win from the free-throw line.

The win helped Utah Valley sweep a three-game road trip. The Wolverines return home Saturday against Seattle (6 p.m. MST, ESPN+).

"It's going to be good to get back home," Madsen said.
