PROVO — A man fell 40 feet while ice climbing Bridal Veil Falls on Monday.
Utah County Search and Rescue teams and a Department of Public Safety helicopter were called to the falls to help the man. Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon said that his injuries are not life-threatening. Preliminary information from the scene indicates he may have suffered a broken arm, Cannon said.
After the hoist from the DPS helicopter was used to get the injured man back to the ground, he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
