SALT LAKE CITY — It's a bye week for Utah after a come-from-behind win over the visiting USC Trojans last week. But we still have two local games and three national games to choose from this week.
BYU travels to Virginia to take on fellow independent Liberty, with hopes of a bounce-back performance following back-to-back losses in consecutive weeks. But the 6-1 Flames have only lost one game, and it was a 1-point loss to a ranked Wake Forest team. Is BYU is trouble for another week?
And Utah State travels to Wyoming to face its former quarterback in a Mountain West showdown. The winner of the newly-formed rivalry will get a key win in the conference title race. But the Aggies' quarterback situation remains unknown, so choose wisely in your picks.
We've got three other games that should be entertaining this weekend and have various implications for the teams' respective conference title races, with none bigger than ESPN's College GameDay host, Oregon, welcoming an undefeated and surging UCLA team to Eugene. Will Chip Kelly's return to Oregon be met with a win?
