SALT LAKE CITY — A 25-year-old man was injured but is expected to survive after being shot in a drive-by shooting, police said.
The shooting was reported at 12:53 a.m. Saturday near 700 North and 900 West.
The man was taken to the hospital and though his condition deteriorated on the drive, he was rushed into surgery and was stabilized, according to Salt Lake police.
Officers said the man was outside a home when a slow-moving car drove toward the house and someone inside the car fired multiple shots in the man's direction. The Salt Lake police gang unit found evidence of gunfire on a house and parked car.
