ST. GEORGE — A suspected serial burglar in St. George now faces allegations of voyeurism.

Aaron Dennis Foote, 44, of St. George, was charged Thursday in 5th District Court with engaging in a pattern of unlawful activity, a second-degree felony, in addition to numerous other crimes. Police believe Foote stole appliances and construction materials from construction sites across the St. George area from April 2021 through February 2022.

On Tuesday, Foote was charged with an additional 10 counts of voyeurism by electronic equipment, a class A misdemeanor.

According to a police booking affidavit, when Foote was originally arrested on May 24, "multiple electronic recording devices and digital media storage devices were recovered" from the truck he was driving. Some of those electronic devices "included cameras which were discreet or disguised such as pinhole cameras."

One of those cameras was concealed in a wristwatch and another was designed to be hidden in a shoe, the affidavit states.

Investigators went through the electronic devices and found "numerous videos of a voyeuristic nature," according to police. Some of the videos were of people undressing and some recorded people under their clothing in public areas, according to the affidavit.

"Detectives were able to identify multiple videos recorded within Washington County. There were at least 10 videos captured of different persons in different locations, to include parks, car washes, retail stores and swimming pools," the affidavit states.

According to court records, Foote was also convicted of voyeurism in 2017 and pleaded no contest to one count. His lengthy criminal history also includes numerous convictions for theft and burglary, according to court records.
