WEST JORDAN — A 13-year-old girl who went missing from West Jordan Saturday has been found and "returned to her family unharmed," police said Thursday.
Isabella Kidman, who police believed to be endangered at the time, was seen leaving in a light blue-colored SUV with an "unknown male" described as "possibly Hispanic with dark hair." Police have not said whether the male has been located.
"We encourage parents to continue the discussion with their children about the dangers of communicating with unknown persons online," West Jordan police officer Samuel Winkler said in a statement. "Parents should continue to learn more about the dangers facing children by visiting child protection sites such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Information found on sites like this are invaluable to ensure our children remain safe."
Winkler said that due to the nature of the ongoing criminal investigation, no other details about the case have been released.
