CLINTON – Four adults and one cat are without a home after their house in Clinton caught on fire Monday night.

The call came in at about 4 p.m., when fire crews from Clinton, North Davis, Roy and Hill Air Force Base Fire departments responded to the home to find what officials say was a "fully engulfed garage."

Clinton Fire Chief Dave Olsen reported that the fire began in the garage and spread to the second floor of the home.

While the fire was contained in 30 minutes, the damage that is reported at $450,000 has displaced all four residents and their cat.

There were no injuries reported, and the cause is still under investigation, Olson said.

The Red Cross is assisting the family at this time.
