SALT LAKE CITY — The second round of the state high school football playoffs has come to a close. Each winning team is now one step closer to a state title.
Once again, the playoffs have already seen a few upsets. Did your high school advance? Here's an updated look at the brackets for each classification of high school football.
6A playoffs: Quarterfinals
- No. 1 Corner Canyon v. No. 8 American Fork, 6 p.m.
- No. 4 Weber v. No. 12 Syracuse, 6 p.m.
- No. 2 Lone Peak v. No. 7 Bingham, 6 p.m.
- No. 3 Skyridge v. No. 6 Farmington, 6 p.m.
The quarterfinal games will be played on Nov. 5 at home sites. Semifinal games will be played at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Nov. 12 at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with the 6A state final played at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Nov. 19 at 2:30 p.m.
5A playoffs: Quarterfinals
- No. 1 Springville v. No. 8 Timpanogos, 4 p.m.
- No. 4 Bountiful v. No. 21 Orem, 6 p.m.
- No. 2 Timpview v. No. 7 Lehi, 6 p.m.
- No. 3 Stansbury v. No. 22 East, 6 p.m.
The quarterfinal games will be played on Nov. 5 at home sites. Semifinal games will be played at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with the 5A state final played at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Nov. 19 at 11 a.m.
4A playoffs: Semifinals
- No. 4 Dixie v. No. 9 Pine View, 6 p.m.
- No. 2 Ridgeline v. No. 6 Crimson Cliffs, 6 p.m.
The semifinal round games will be played on Nov. 5 at home sites, with the 4A state final played at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Nov. 12 at 11 a.m.
3A playoffs: Semifinals
- No. 1 Juab v. No. 4 Morgan, 4 p.m.
- No. 2 Juan Diego v. No. 3 Grantsville, 7 p.m.
The semifinal round will be played on Nov. 6 at Southern Utah University, with the 3A state final played at Weber State University on Nov. 13 at 5 p.m.
2A playoffs: Semifinals
- No. 1 San Juan v. No. 4 Summit Academy, 10 a.m.
- No. 2 South Summit v. No. 3 Beaver, 1 p.m.
The semifinal round will be played on Nov. 6 at Southern Utah University, with the 2A state final played at Weber State University on Nov. 13 at 2 p.m.
1A playoffs: Semifinals
- No. 1 Duchesne v. No. 4 Milford, 2 p.m.
- No. 2 Kanab v. No. 6 Layton Christian Academy, 5 p.m.
The semifinal round will be played on Nov. 5 at Southern Utah University, with the 1A state final played at Weber State University on Nov. 13 at 11 a.m.
