GRANTSVILLE — A Utah Silver Alert activated Monday for an elderly man last seen in Grantsville has been canceled.

Paul Gourley, 81, had been last seen Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Grantsville, driving a brown 2012 Toyota RAV4 with the license plate "Y328ZR." It was not known at the time what he was wearing or what his destination may have been.

According to the alert, Gourley suffers from dementia, which prompted the concern.

The Silver Alert was canceled shortly after 11:30 p.m. Monday. Police did not provide any details about where Gourley was located or his condition.
