SODA SPRINGS, Idaho — A Utah woman died after the motorcycle she was riding sideswiped another vehicle and crashed Friday morning, Idaho authorities said.
Susan Brown, 65, of West Point, died as a result of the crash, according to Idaho State Police.
The crash happened in the area of 10 E. 2nd South in Soda Springs shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to a news release from the law enforcement agency. Authorities said Brown was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson and turned left out of a gas station onto 2nd South when she "sideswiped" a westbound 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck hauling a horse trailer.
Idaho State Police said Brown was wearing a helmet but died from her injuries at the scene. The 67-year-old driver and 65-year-old passenger of the truck, also from Utah, were not injured.
The crash remained under investigation Friday evening.
