SARATOGA SPRINGS — An Eagle Mountain man died Friday after his motorcycle and a car collided in Saratoga Springs.

The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. near Foothill Boulevard and Foothill Crossing. The 30-year-old motorcyclist, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Saratoga Springs Police Sgt. Zach Beglarian said.

The three passengers in the car were seen by medical personnel at the scene but were not transported to a hospital.

The intersection was closed for three to four hours Friday night as police investigated the crash and reconstructed the accident.

Beglarian said the back right side of the car sustained damage, but the exact cause of the crash was unknown.
