SOUTH JORDAN — A silver alert was canceled Saturday afternoon for 89-year-old Jose Polaco and 82-year-old Maria Polaco.
The cancelation was issued by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification just before 3 p.m., but the agency did not say where or how the couple was found.
The couple was last seen leaving their home about 11 a.m. on Friday. Law enforcement authorities were concerned because they said Jose Polaco has memory loss issues and Maria Polaco has dementia, making the couple vulnerable.
