MAPLETON — One person is in serious condition following a crash between a semitruck and car in Mapleton on Friday, according to the Mapleton Fire Department.

In a Facebook post, fire officials said at 12:15 p.m. crews responded to a crash between a semitruck and a car on U.S. Highway 89 and 1600 South. One person was transported to a trauma center in serious condition.
