SALT LAKE CITY — Delta Flight 628 from Salt Lake City to Mexico City was diverted to El Paso, Texas, on Monday afternoon after issues with the aircraft's cabin pressurization, Delta officials said.

The aircraft landed safely in El Paso and was being inspected by technicians, according to the airline, which was working with passengers to continue their travel to Mexico.

No other information about the incident was released.
