Man killed in Redwood Road crash on March 31 identified

The man who was killed in a car crash at 400 S. Redwood Road on March 31 has been identified by Salt Lake City police as 22-year-old Eleazar Perez Olan.

SALT LAKE CITY — The man who was killed in a car crash at 400 S. Redwood Road on March 31 has been identified by Salt Lake City police.

The man was identified as 22-year-old Eleazar Perez Olan. He was a passenger in a small car that was hit by an SUV, police say.

The small car was southbound on Redwood Road and made a left-hand turn at 400 South, according to Salt Lake City Police Lt. Wierman. The SUV, which was northbound, collided with the car.

The drivers of the small car and the SUV were transported by ground ambulance with minor injuries.

According to a GoFundMe account organized by friends of the family, Olan's wife was involved in the crash as well.

The GoFundMe* was created to pay for funeral expenses as well as medical bills.
