MURRAY — Police have identified a woman hit and killed by a car in Murray on Tuesday.

Rosa Sanchez-Bonilla, 69, of Salt Lake County, was crossing the intersection of 4500 South and 500 West about 5:30 a.m. when she was hit by a car, according to Murray police. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

The incident remained under investigation on Wednesday and no other information was released.
