MURRAY — A Murray man is accused of supplying marijuana and alcohol to two teenage girls and sexually assaulting them.

Jonathan David Beebe, 33, was charged Wednesday in 3rd District Court with rape of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and forcible sodomy, all first-degree felonies; plus two additional counts of sexual abuse of a child, a second-degree felony.

A 13-year-old girl told police that in March of 2020, she went to a friend's house to smoke marijuana. Later, the friend's father, Beebe, joined the girls and provided them with alcohol, according to charging documents.

When the girl, now intoxicated, was in Beebe's room, he prevented her from leaving and sexually assaulted her, the charges state.

A 17-year-old girl told police that she, too, was at Beebe's home drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana when he forcefully grabbed her by her hair and also sexually abused her, according to the charges.

Court documents say the events occurred sometime during the month of March, but don't indicate whether the alleged crimes occurred on the same day.
