LOGAN — Utah State's series finale against Fresno State will have to wait.
The Aggies' second contest against the Bulldogs, which was scheduled for 8 p.m. MT Saturday night on FS1, has been postponed by the Mountain West Conference due to health and safety concerns. The league says further adjustments to the schedule will be revealed at a later date.
It's the first game to be postponed in Mountain West play for Utah State, which hasn't faced a cancellation since a pair of dropped games Dec. 12 against Weber State and Dec. 15 against Division I newcomers Dixie State. Utah State coach Craig Smith tested positive for COVID-19 shortly before the Aggies' home opener against BYU, but the program did not cancel any games as a direct result of the diagnosis while Smith was isolated from the team.
Due to health and safety concerns, the men's basketball game between Utah State and Fresno State scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6 has been postponed.

He did not return to the game, but joined his team on the bench and in postgame celebrations afterward.
