SALT LAKE CITY — Police have identified the body found in the Jordan River on Sunday.

The body of Eric Granados, 35, was seen floating in the Jordan River just west of the International Peace Gardens, 1100 W. Dalton Ave. Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma and investigators were waiting Tuesday for an autopsy report from the State Medical Examiner's Office to determine a cause of death.

Salt Lake police say the last known address for Granados was in Tooele, but officers had not had any interaction with him for several years.
