Randall Jeppeson reporting You can already get a tax credit for buying a hybrid car. Now Utah Senator Bob Bennett is pushing a plan that would create tax credits for other types of cars, trucks, even SUVs that use more fuel-efficient technology.
The tax credit would range from $600 to $1800, and the proposed credit would be paid for by taking a tax deduction away from oil companies.
