(KSL News) -- The couple who founded the company Neways will now spend more than two years in jail for tax evasion.
Thomas and Leslie Mower were convicted by a grand jury back in March 2005. The grand jury indictment says the couple schemed to conceal some of their income.
Thomas Mower will spend 33 months in prison, Leslie Mower 27 months. They will also pay 135-thousand dollars in fines.
Their company's lawyer Jampes Thompson will serve one year.
