(KSL News) -- A band of pirates came to Salt Lake today, not to look for buried treasure, but to kick off a fundraising campaign.
Primary Children's Hospital hosted a "pirate party" today to mark the beginning of the "Pennies by the Inch" fundraiser. Kids at the hospital decorated pirate hats, and went with pirates on a "treasure hunt."
Pennies by the Inch started 84 years ago. The organization says 100 percent of the money it raises goes straight to patient care.
