(KSL News) Westminster will be honored today for its efforts to help the enviroment.
The school is being recognized as a visionary partner by Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky.
An economic class researched the Blue Sky program and recommended the school purchase wind power.
The wind energy purchased will now meet 11 percent of the campus' electrical needs. It will have the same enviromental benefit as planting over 176-thousand trees or not driving 1.9-million miles annually.
