(KSL News) A teacher in Tooele County accused of having sex with students made an appearance today in court.
Leslie Baird worked at Tooele High School. Prosecutors say Baird had intercourse with students, sent out sexually explicit text messages and gave alcohol to a student in the school parking lot.
Administrators at the high school suspended her, pending the results of an investigation.
During today's hearing, Baird's lawyers asked for a continuance. Another hearing was scheduled for October.
