(KSL News) The Salt Lake City Fire Department determined that a suspicious white powder found this afternoon on the Memory Grove dog trail was actually flour.
Someone walking the trail saw the powder in piles spaced about every 20 feet. The person called animal control because they thought it might be similar to the poison that killed two dogs earlier this month.
Salt Lake City police closed the dog trail, while a hazmat crew examined the powder. Investigators say it's most likely wheat flour set out by pranksters.
