Police have arrested four men suspected of breaking into a home in Cottonwood Heights Monday night and roughing up and robbing the occupants.

The suspects forced their way into the home using a knife and a gun. They took money, cell phones and other items. But most notably, they got away with a pound of marijuana.
Cottonwood Heights police say 26-year-old Ramiro Noel Herrera and 21-year-old Kent David Mafileo broke into a home near 3400 East and 7600 South. Four people were inside at the time and told police that Herrera and Mafileo physically assaulted them before stealing the drugs and the money.
Nobody was seriously injured, but police are convinced the suspects and the victims knew each other.
"They knew where this house was. They knew when to hit it. They knew when they'd be home so they could find the marijuana and money or whatever else they wanted," said Officer Beau Babka, spokesman for the Cottonwood Heights Police Department.

Herrera and Mafileo were picked up a short time later by Midvale police. Two other men, 23-year-old James Petersen and 24-year-old Nathan Larsen, were also in the car and were taken into custody. All were booked on aggravated robbery charges.
Herrera and Mafileo were also booked for aggravated assault; both men have criminal histories.
Police are still trying to piece this all together. They say it's possible some of the victims in this case could also face drug charges.
