(KSL News) Kennecott and University Health Care announced today they will build a new health care center in the Daybreak community. The center will be located at 11400 South Daybreak View Parkway.

The center will be built on approximately 10 to 15 acres. A groundbreaking is scheduled for spring of 2009, and the center is scheduled to open in mid-2010.

Rio Tinto's Kennecott Land, the developer of the Daybreak Community, is working with the university to master plan a multiphase medical campus on up to 50 acres.
