(KSL News) A burglar bungled his job at a Sandy TRAX station yesterday.
Police say Jacob Thacher was waiting for a ride from his mother when he broke into a couple of cars in broad daylight.
Several witnesses told police the 18-year-old took two golf bags, with clubs, and CDs. But he ended up dropping the clubs.
When investigators got a description, they called police agencies, and it turned out that Thacher was easy to find. He was at the West Jordan Police Department paying a traffic ticket.
Police arrested him for burglary.
