WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- A West Valley City man accused in the shooting of another man during a fight back in July now faces charges.
An 18-year-old man has been charged with first-degree attempted murder.
Court documents say that according to the victim, the 18-year-old confronted him three times -- once even showing him a semiautomatic handgun.
But on the third occasion, the victim claims the 18-year-old shot him at close range -- hitting him both in the chest and ribs.
All three altercations apparently occurred near 4600 S. Carnegie Tech.
