(KSL News) A man trying to cross train tracks with his bicycle was hit by a TRAX train today.

The Utah Transit Authority says the man waited for a southbound train to pass near the Sandy Expo Center at 150 E. 9400 South. He started to cross but was hit by a northbound train.
The arms warning that a train was coming were down at the time.
Crews rescued the man from under the train. He was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
