(KSL News) Salt Lake firefighters quickly put out a late night fire.
The fire was reported at an unoccupied storage area at 4th South and 9th West just before 10:30.
Flames and smoke poured out of the north end of the building, but firefighters caught up with it before it spread to neighboring buildings.
Capt. Ron Fife, Salt Lake City Fire Dept.: "We made a quick knockdown, and we're just mopping up and taking care of any hot spots. Then we'll be out of here."
Fire investigators were called out, but so far no word on the cause of the fire.
