Biologists with the Wyoming Game and Fish are conducting a study on Kokanee Salmon at Flaming Gorge, Their aim is to see how many kokanee in the reservoir are naturally occurring, and how many are hatchery fish. This data will better inform fisheries biologists as to whether stocking Kokanee into the Gorge is worth the effort for anglers.
