(KSL News) A boy who got lost during a motorcycle outing with his family is home safe tonight.

Wren Roundy, 10, was out with five others people on their motorbikes yesterday afternoon near Lakeside when he got separated from the group. He drove his bike until it ran out of gas, then took off on foot. Wren fell asleep on the ground just before midnight, and that's when several volunteers found him.

His mother, Tricia Roundy, said, "They found his bike first, and then they said they had to go looking. They followed his footprints from the motorcycle and then they found him later."

The boy was safe. He said he was even prepared to stay by the road and walk to town if necessary.
