(KSL News) Kaysville was filled with the sounds of protesters this afternoon, marching against a proposed treatment facility.

"We've been tricked, and it's no treat!" the protesters shouted.

The residents say someone has applied to open a new treatment center in a home right in their neighborhood. However, they say the owners refuse to be identified and won't say exactly what kind of treatment will be offered.

"We have no assurances, whatever type of facility it is. These people have obviously gotten into things that are out of their control, and we don't believe that they should be allowed to be in our neighborhood," Alayna Williamson said.

Residents say they're worried the facility will put their children's safety at risk.

They'll be out tonight trick-or-treating for donations to help pay for legal costs.
