OREM — It was an afternoon of repeat title winners Friday at the Class 2A, 3A and 4A state drill competition at the UCCU Center at Utah Valley University.

4A Dixie, 3A South Sevier and 2A Kanab all won repeat state championships, with one doing so in dominant fashion and others extending a veritable dynasty.

Class 4A

Dixie swept all three major disciplines during Friday’s final round to clinch its third state title in five years. Washington County schools swept the podium, with Desert Hills placing second and Snow Canyon third in 4A.

Class 3A

South Sevier extended its 3A drill dynasty with the Sensations' seventh straight state championship. The team with 11 of the past 14 state titles held off North Sanpete, Juab, South Summit and Manti.

Class 2A

Kanab won back-to-back state titles by sweeping all three categories Friday night in the UCCU Center.

The Larriettes cruised to the title over Enterprise and North Summit, who finished second and third, respectively.
