LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Tyrese Maxey scored 10 of his 17 points in the second half, and No. 13 Kentucky used a 23-12 run to rally past Vanderbilt for a 71-62 victory that dealt the Commodores their record 25th consecutive SEC regular season loss. The Wildcats trailed 40-30 early in the second half before the big run over 8:45 to lead for good at 53-52. Maxey later scored nine points for a seven-point cushion. Saben Lee scored 21 points and Dylan Disu had 13 for the Commodores, who broke the mark it briefly shared with Sewanee, which set the mark from 1938-40.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Emmitt Williams had 23 points and 11 rebounds, and No. 22 LSU defeated Alabama 90-76 for the Tigers' ninth straight victory. Skylar Mays scored 18 points and freshman Trendon Watford had 17 points and a season-high 15 rebounds as the Tigers improved to 7-0 in SEC play. Jaden Shackelford scored 21 points and Alex Reese 17 for Alabama. The Crimson Tide saw its winning streak snapped at four. Alabama trailed by as many as 20 points in the first half and never got closer than nine after that.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Isaac Okoro converted a big three-point play with 1:41 left in the second overtime, and No. 17 Auburn topped Mississippi 83-82. Okoro had 14 points and nine rebounds for Auburn, which trailed by as many as 19 early in the second half. Anfernee McLemore led the Tigers with 19 points, and Samir Doughty had 17. The Rebels had a chance for the win in the closing seconds, but Blake Hinson missed a 3-point try.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — A.J. Lawson scored 19 points for South Carolina and the Gamecocks never trailed but needed an Arkansas missed 3-pointer at the buzzer for a 79-77 victory. Mason Jones finished with 34 points and 12 rebounds to lead Arkansas. Isaiah Joe, who missed Arkansas’ win on Saturday against TCU with knee inflammation, came off the bench to add 16 points. Arkansas pulled to 78-77 on a pair of Jones free throws with 28 seconds to play and had the final possession with 26 seconds left, but Joe missed a 3-point shot from the corner.
