WEST JORDAN — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in West Jordan Tuesday.

Sometime between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., there was a confrontation between the victim and another person in the street in front of the victim’s home near 9300 South and 3825 West, said West Jordan Police Sgt. JC Holt.

The victim was stabbed and the suspect fled the scene, Holt said.

Family members from inside the house drove Adam D. Cross, 27, to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police said detectives were looking Tuesday for the attacker and had leads they were following.
