OGDEN — Ogden police have located a woman who they believe left her assisted living center on foot Sunday morning.
Bernadette Mitchell, 62, was located about 4:15 a.m. Monday at the Salvation Army at 2615 Grant Avenue, according to a Facebook post from Ogden police. She was in fair to good condition and complained of being cold, police said.
Mitchell was taken to the hospital as a precaution since she was exposed to some harsh weather during the time she was missing, police said.
Mitchell left Gardens Assisted Living Center near 9th and Harrison Blvd. at 5 a.m. Sunday, and did not have any access to a car or other means of transportation, according to police. The care center, as well as Mitchell's family members, were notified of her discovery Monday morning.
