CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. delivery was off .50 cent at $5.12 a bushel; Dec. corn was up .20 cent at $3.6820 bushel; Dec. oats rose 4.40 cents at $3.1140 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans declined 10.40 cents at 9.0420 a bushel.
Beef was mixed, pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec. live cattle rose .90 cent at $1.1945 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle fell .80 cent at $1.4625 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up .53 cent at .6158 a pound.
