CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. delivery fell 8.80 cents at $5.1140 a bushel; Dec. corn lost 6.40 cents at $3.7620 bushel; Dec. oats rose 2.60 cents at $3.0300 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans was up .20 cent at 9.1740 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec. live cattle rose .96 cent at $1.1968 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle was up .20 cent at $1.4718 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell .73 cent at .6515 a pound.
