Editor's note: Thank you for all of your submissions! At this time, we are no longer accepting entries.SALT LAKE CITY — Every year, Christmas music, movies, decorations and holiday sales come earlier and earlier, often meaning the spooky season gets pushed aside.

But Halloween, in all its costume and candy glory, deserves its moment. And we at KSL.com are here to give it justice with a costume contest.

The rules are simple. Send us a photo of you or your child’s Halloween costume by Halloween at noon to web@ksl.com. Make sure to include your contact info in case we need to reach you.

Our staff will then pick three finalists, and our readers will vote on a winner.

Some rules for your costume submissions:

  • Must be a Halloween costume from 2019
  • Must be submitted by Halloween at noon
  • Must be appropriate and “safe for work”
  • Offensive costumes will be disqualified
The prize — other than all the bragging rights — is a $20 gift card. And that's it, boos and ghouls. Don’t ghost us, send in those costumes fright away!
