STRAWBERRY RESERVOIR — The search will continue Monday for two brothers who were last seen on their boat at Strawberry Reservoir. Only now, officials say they're looking for "remains."

Officials think James "Jim" Gardiner, 70, and Mark Gardiner, 61, may have caught a fish and fell into the water while trying to retrieve it. Their boat was found Thursday with the engine running and the fish still on the line of one of their fishing rods.

The Wasatch County Sherriff's Department released a statement Sunday saying, "the teams spent the day verifying images using rovers with cameras. We also refocused an area of concentration."

Officials from Utah State Parks, dive crews from several departments, the Utah Department of Public Safety, Weber County and dog teams were all involved in the search that continued over the weekend.

"The Wasatch SAR Team will work (Monday), and if they have not located the remains of Mr. Jim Gardiner and Mr. Mark Gardiner tomorrow evening, will need to start scaling back," the statement reads.
