Utah man dies in Moab skydiving accident

MOAB — A Moab man died Sunday afternoon in a skydiving accident, officials said.

Spencer W. Connolley, 23, "experienced a fast and hard landing" in the landing zone used by skydivers at the Canyonlands Airport, according to a statement from Grand County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office was investigating the accident.

Additional information, including what may have caused the accident, was not immediately available.
